One of my biggest indulgences is hosting dinner parties, and an absolutely essential start to making these events truly memorable is the sending out of specially-made, handsome invitation cards that get everyone looking forward to the day. These leaf-themed cards seem to keep multiplying. Creatively varying the combination of just a couple of color and shape options has resulted in many cards that appear similar but are subtly distinct. We just couldn’t choose which ones to leave out, so they are all here for now. People who love autumn leaves, nature-motifs, or nature art may enjoy these cards. Planning a fall soiree? | They say changing employment every few years is the norm these days. One thing that I’ve consistently done since my very first job interview has been to send a “thank you” card to every person that interviewed me. I write a couple of sentences highlighting the positive, alluring aspects of the company or the position, and a couple of sentences pointing out my strengths and how I could make significant contributions to the company. All of this information written by hand fits nicely on a small thank you card. I can easily go through a box of thank you cards after interviewing with about 3 companies and talking to 3 to 4 people at each company. I don’t use fancy cards for this purpose. That’s neither necessary nor appropriate. The thank you cards I use are understated yet elegant, like the one here. This note card is my staple for that purpose. - kyk
